Hey there! I found this via a google search – I’m a Michigan blogger and my family and I are headed to OK for a couple weeks at the end of this month – just wondering if there are any meet ups planned for Jan 2011? Or a couple local blogs you could recommend?

I'm looking at my calendar, but for those who value their secret identities–why don't you make up a fake blog? No,no,no I'm not with Man of the West, clearly I am the author of Pies in the Sky.

Denise, Tulsa-area is however you want to define it. If South Dakota is in the Tulsa area in your mind (and it is, compared to Antarctica or somewhere) and you can make the drive in, you're more than welcome at the blog meetup.

Man of the West, maybe you could wear a cool mask to the meetup. It'd be even better if it was homemade. With feathers. And glitter. Or, you could wear a helmet. Boss! Denise, you're creative. Help a guy out.

Celeste, where do you teach? Funny thing - I'm teaching a class of my own that day. But more on that later.

Seems to me that attending such a shindig might trend towards compromising one's highly prized anonymity.
