The Dentist and the Kid

Earlier this week we had our first dentist appointment. Well, not my first dentist appointment. My son’s. It was his first dentist appointment.
That’s pretty much my sentiment, sweetheart. The dentist and I aren’t exactly buds. After three years of orthodontia and countless appointments spent pinned down and wired with metal in the chair of a nice man named Dr. Katz, I wasn’t exactly giddy to hop back into a dentist’s chair.
