Don’t miss one of my personal favorite Tulsa events. Ice skate hand-in-hand on the BOK Center’s 17,000-square-foot indoor ice rink, snack on heart-shaped concessions to your hearts’ content, watch skating demonstrations and maybe even win a prize or two. There’s even face painting for the kids. Admission to the building is free and skate rental is $10 for adults and $5 for kids under age three and for those who bring their own skates. When you’ve skated until you can skate no more, hop a horse-drawn carriage ride through the streets of downtown Tulsa. A couple rides for $20 and a family of four rides for $25.

Call today to sign up the kids to make seven V-Day-themed cookies – that’s one to eat, six to take home or to gift to their special someone (read: Mommy, please). The greatest part about this Valentine’s Day activity is that parents don’t have to worry about clean-up. It’s all taken care of by the staff at Sage’s beautiful Brookside cooking studio for kids. Register before Feb. 10 and page $15; cost is $20 after Feb. 10 until the big day itself.
