While the official first day of summer is June 21st, for me summer always begins the day I eat my first sno cone.

It’s true. It’s not really summer until I’ve been satisfied with the sticky sweetness that is a sno cone from Josh’s Sno Shack.

My favorite flavor is the Boomer Sooner, of course.

However, if you aren’t as partial to the crimson and cream as I am, there are tons – I repeat, TONS – of flavors to choose from.

Just look at this list. And that’s only the half of the menu.

And if for some reason you can’t make up your mind, you can always do what Jennifer here did and go for the Josh’s Surprise. They won’t tell you what it is, but that’s okay because the ice is shaved to perfection and the concoction is a perfect combination of sweetness and summer lovin’.

I must warn you though, this place is pretty much always packed. These sno cones are THAT amazing.
