Tulsa’s Skyline the Erin Sees Tulsa Way

Oh, hi! Erin here. Or you can call me E. Whichever you prefer, really.

In college I was known by E to everyone on campus. I mean, people would get confused looks on their faces if you happened to ask where Erin was. E, on the other hand, brought back the nods of understanding with the resounding chorus of, “Oh! You mean E. She’s on the tennis court.” Typical.

I’ve been called some form of this nickname my entire life. I’ve embraced it wholeheartedly and often even prefer it. It’s a part of who I am.

I could go on but I’m pretty sure I totally just bored you with my personal past, didn’t I? But isn’t that what blogs are for? No? Oh, right. I’m supposed to show you what I saw, not go on and on with how I feel.

Gosh. I’m sorry! Sometimes a girl just needs to know someone is listening.

Not really.

I more just wanted you to know why exactly I chose to write an E in the sky. It is my name after all.

And I had so much fun writing an E that I doodled a star next.

And now I’m kicking myself for not drawing the shape of the state of Oklahoma across the Tulsa skyline.

There’s always tomorrow. I do still have sparklers left.

So now I want to know – how would you paint the town?

Because like I said, I do still have sparklers left.
