The Soma Cafe

A candy bar, a can of soda, maybe a stale pretzel or hot dog — these are the types of food one might expect to find available to customers at a furniture store, if one expects there to be any food at all.

But at Mathis Brothers Furniture, 6611 S. 101st East Ave., employees and customers alike have access to more than vending machines.

Migas, hand-crafted soups, an organic burger and even a rib-eye steak are all available in The Soma Cafe, a 30-seat eatery tucked into the southwest end of the store.
