Blue Dome Mardi Gras Parade

Mardi Gras – did you know that’s French for Fat Tuesday? – is here, Tulsa. Here’s where to party (and collect copious amounts of beads, of course).

Mardi Gras at Chicory & Chives
When: Tuesday, March 8th, all day

Mardi Gras starts bright and early at Chicory & Chives, an authentic Cajun restaurant here in Tulsa. A band will strike up at 10:30 in the morning and play through lunch, then return at about 5pm and play the night away. Look for beer and drink specials on everything from Hurricanes to VooDoo-tinis and specials on food like Po’ Boys, étouffée, andouille sausage corndogs and shrimp and grits – plenty on which to eat yourself silly. Beads, masks and giveaways will also be in plentiful supply, and the customer with the best costume tomorrow evening gets a $50 gift certificate good at the restaurant. Yum!

Mardi Gras Madness
