Spring Break 2011 is upon us, students and parents, and between the camps, parties, activities, free stuff to do and the weather in the forecast, it’s gonna be a beaut.

Here’s a list of things for kids to do in Tulsa this Spring Break.

TulsaKids Magazine offers no less than 20 great ways for your kids to play in Tulsa during Spring Break 2011.

The ultimate pocketbook pleaser. The folks at Philbrook Museum of Art have partnered with Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum and Tulsa Air & Space Museum to offer 50 percent admission for the week, from March 12-20. Just show your membership card from any of these destinations to get your discount. Just another way investing in memberships at your local museums saves a ton-o-money.

Mom of four and woman about town Marnie Fernandez has big plans for her family this spring break – staycation plans, all right here in Tulsa. Watch out for them in a future post on her new blog, Midadventures in Mommyhood: Tales From a Manic Mommy.

A new page on Facebook can help with feeding your brood after long days of basking in the springtime sun: Kids Eat Free Tulsa. I love that they’re featuring lots of locally owned business on that page, too. Check it out when you get a chance.

Speaking of eating, you might need this: Best Patios in Tulsa. Also, Best Patios in Tulsa for Pets.

How about a movie night? Spring Break has always a great time to veg out in front of a movie screen. Here’s what I’d recommend. See the Rock ‘n’ Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher. It’s an award-winning movie that was made a few years ago right here in Tulsa, and it masterfully combines themes of the karaoke underworld, love and the awkwardness of coming of age. The awesome news is that just by liking The Rock ‘n’ Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher on Facebook, you can see the full-length movie for free. At your desk. As in, right here, right now. Cool, huh?

Mmm…ice cream. Ever wanted to tour the Blue Bell Creamery in Broken Arrow? Spring Break is a really great time to do that.

What are your big plans for Spring Break 2011?
