For when you need fried sausage rolls, biscuits and gravy, and/or cinnamon rolls the size of your face: Daylight Donuts Super Shop, on Yale at the Broken Arrow Expressway. Which happens to have a kick-ass sign, too, by the way.

Ah yes, that sign originally said “Shaws” as this was originally a hamburger place by that name- their Dixie Burger was my mother’s favorite.

I hope they never mess with the sign. It’s way past repairing and has such a great “patina.”

From the angle of the photo, you can still make out the ghosts of “SHAW’S DRIVE-IN”
