Tasha Does Tulsa.

The trails along the Tulsa stretch of the Arkansas River is not my favorite place to go for a walk or a run in this city. I prefer hills and trees and the smell of earth as opposed to water during the few hours each week I can find to escape to the outdoors. But it’s high on the list.

River Parks is crawling this time of year with every size and shape of human imaginable, and there are more fancy dogs on promenade than you could scare in a week. (Not that I’ve ever tried this.)

As for its spot on my list of places to watch a spring or summertime sunset in Tulsa, well. It’s tops.
