Things to do in downtown Tulsa: Guthrie Green
Posted by Tasha on September 15th, 2012 in Uncategorized
In case you haven’t heard the news, downtown Tulsa has a brand-new performance venue, right smack-dab in the middle of the historic Brady Arts District: It’s Guthrie Green, and it’s going to be one of the busiest places in town from now until November.
The park, a former industrial site and freight yard, offers a stage, The Dock pavilion, and picturesque, tree-lined paths, water features, and plenty of places to lounge in the shade. There are markets, festivals, concerts, movie showings, and even workshops planned for the park at 111 E. Brady for its nights and weekends, filling the entire block between Brady, Cameron, Boston, and Cincinnati Avenues with Tulsans of every walk.
